After taking a big loss at the 25-50¢ tables, the biggest microlimit stakes, the King gave up poker for the uptenth time. And like always he came back. However, his two big site accounts had no money because they were withdrawn. So instead he played in a no-limit freeroll on Poker Stars and did not win a free ticket. The next day, the King played with a sportsbook poker account with just $2 and some change.
An interesting thing happened here, instead of moving to another table when the table became short-handed, he had to stay there because he had no where else to play. So the game fluctuated between 2-9 players and pot odds became less important than at a full ring game.
It has been done before, it can be done again. A seed grows into a big tree and $2 and some change can be bult into a big balance.
